Man-Thing_1_CoverNot only is R.L. Stine coming to Marvel by giving us a new look at ‘Man-Thing’ in a 5-part miniseries but we’ve also got some preview panels of the first issue to share with you! That’s right ladies and gentlemen, German Peralta (‘Moon Knight’,’Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’) is illustrating “one of the most monstrous creatures in the Marvel mythos” which has the writing duties tackled by one of the most well-known horror authors of all time.

Color me excited.

In the book, we’ll see Man-Thing finally having regained his ability to speak and trying to find a way to both leave the swamps and possibly return to his life as Ted Sallis. The only problem is that to do that he would have to turn his back onto a new danger that threatens not only the Earth but all of reality.

It seems like good old Ted is going to have some tough decisions ahead of him.

Let’s take a look at the first four preview panels of the comic right now! (Click to enlarge)

As a bonus, Daniel Warren Johnson has signed on to illustrate a second tale in the book for R.L. Stine that brings “terror on the high seas.” Though, there is no word as to if this will be ‘Man-Thing’ related at this time or just show up in the same book as another story.
