In one week, ‘The Flash’ speeds back onto The CW with an all-new season. Following the events of the Season Two finale, we’ll catch up with Grant Gustin’s Scarlet Speedster as he deals with the fallout from altering the timeline by saving his mother from the Reverse Flash. But ahead of the Season Three premiere titled ‘Flashpoint’, the network has released an extended trailer to give us a quick look at what’s to come.

With only a few more days until DC Comics fans are able to return to the Arrowverse on the small screen, The CW is upping their promotional campaign across the board for their superhero shows. When it comes to the Fastest Man Alive, the latest preview offers a small glimpse at Barry Allen’s new status quo following his altering of the timeline. However, though things may seem great at first, Barry’s world is about to fade away like Marty McFly’s picture of his siblings while he was in 1955. You can check out the video called ‘Run Devil Run’ courtesy of the CW YouTube below, followed by the official synopsis of the season premiere:

Barry is living his dream life – his parents are alive, he’s asked Iris West on a date and he can finally be a normal guy as Central City has another speedster, Kid Flash, running around saving the city. When Barry starts forgetting parts of his old life, the Reverse Flash taunts his nemesis and tells him that there will be serious repercussions for Barry and the ones he loves if he continues to live in this alternate universe. In addition to losing his memories, his powers will also start to fade. When disaster strikes, Barry must decide if he wants to continue to live in this world as Barry Allen or return to his universe as The Flash.
