If you’ve been wanting to both see more of ‘Warcraft‘ as well as how they’ve managed to bring the largest motion capture production to date truly alive than today you’re in for a treat! With both a ‘Making Of’ featurette and a behind-the-scenes tour of some of the weapons that will be used in the film there is a lot to see here. Director Duncan Jones has really been pulling out all the stops to have his vision of Azeroth brought to the big screen and I can only hope it looks and feels as good as he clearly wants it to.
Early buzz on the movie has been mixed at best but when I see featurettes like these, it really makes me want it to be good. However, I’m worried that we’re going to be in for a fantasy flop instead of a new epic fantasy.

Historically video game adaptations haven’t faired well at the box office but with ‘Warcraft’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed’ being big budget gambles this year that they can work it really is in both Universal Pictured and Legendary’s best interest that this one is a smash hit. With each teaser, I feel that the visuals have looked better for the movie but I only hope it isn’t too little too late after the initial teasers were panned for using too much CGI that didn’t look right.

I truly feel that they have the look down and just hope it can translate to a good story that captures the audience’s attention. This is a franchise which could be epic if done right or stop future attempts at video game films dead in their tracks if too large of a failure.

Synopsis:
