Sure, if you’re a devoted Marvel Zombie, you already own all of Marvel’s movies, but there are still reasons to pick up their latest ‘Phase 2’ boxed set, which features BluRay editions of Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man, in a nifty package shaped like the Power Stone from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, exclusive artwork and over 2 1/2 hours of bonus footage.
Just one video clip included on the Bonus disc is a never-before-seen audition tape, with Chris Pratt (Star-Lord/Peter Quill) and Dave Bautista (Drax) for ‘Guardians’. The scene included plays out very similarly to the way it does in the movie, but it’s still interesting to see their rapport in stripped down “homemade” costumes, yet still possessing the same chemistry as what fans got in the final film.

As a bonus, here is the exclusive BluRay artwork by Matt Ferguson (see the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ image at the top of this page):
In addition to the traditional discs and packaging, the set includes a veritable subscription box of random goodies including a copy of the Sokovia Accords, first mentioned in ‘Ant-Man’ and playing a major role in next year’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’, a small pad of Stark Industries post-its, a temporary tattoo of Tony Stark’s face (!), Thor Rainbow Bridge coasters, an Avengers rubber stopper, a STRIKE team patch, a “You Know Who I Am” name badge, a bumper sticker that reads “Jarvis is my co-pilot” and a microscope slide containing the remains of Ant-Man’s steed Antony.
Will this be on your Christmas list?
The Phase 2 boxed set comes out Tuesday December 8.
