You either love them or hate them, but teasers for trailers are now a thing so it shouldn’t be a surprise that Warner Bros has released this teaser for the next full trailer for the superhero showdown film ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.’

The film takes place immediately after ‘Man of Steel,’ and from the clip, it looks like Batman has been taken captive with two other men in an underground bunker of sorts. Superman arrives, none too happy, to see Batman who has been staging a war against him. The look of contempt on Superman’s face once he unmasks the Dark Knight indicates this won’t be a friendly meeting.

With only a little less than 40 seconds of actual film shown, it is hard to figure out the context of the scene. The soldiers bowing in the presence of Superman and his almost authoritarianism demeanor seems out of line with the Superman that was last seen in ‘Man of Steel.’

Hopefully more will be known once the full trailer is released on Wednesday during the Jimmy Kimmel show.

Until then, let us know your thoughts about the teaser below!

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ opens on March 26, 2016.
