From the moment she was cast in the role back in April, fans have been excited to see Olivia Munn play Psylocke in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. True Believers were hyped even more so after her costume was revealed in the infamous Entertainment Weekly issue where Oscar Issac’s all-powerful villain somewhat resembled Ivan Ooze from the ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ movie. But now we can catch a glimpse at the Horseman of Apocalypse in action as the actress displays her martial arts prowess on her social media accounts.
One of the most defining factors of the deadly ninja known as Betsy Braddock is her expertise in various forms of fighting. This will definitely be reflected in her big screen counterpart when the former ‘Attack of the Show’ co-host and ‘Daily Show’ correspondent portrays the character in Bryan Singer’s sequel to ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’. But before we see her in action (and in her amazingly comic accurate costume), we’ve been given a sneak peek at her martial arts training. Recently, Munn posted a video on her Instagram account showing off some of her preparation with a trainer. You can check some of her moves below:
By the looks of things, Psylocke is in very good hands with Olivia Munn. She’s definitely working hard to stay true to the fan favorite character and the hard work is paying off.
