Throughout the weekend, some of the most anticipated upcoming films will be presented in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con including ‘Yoga Hosers’, ‘The Hateful Eight’, ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, ‘Deadpool’, and more. However, the first of the bunch to step up in the hallowed hall was ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay –Part 2’. In a panel moderated by Conan O’Brien, stars Willow Shields, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Jennifer Lawrence were joined by director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson to discuss the epic conclusion of their beloved film franchise. And they even brought along the first full trailer for the film. Unfortunately, that was only for those in attendance, so instead the rest of the world that isn’t at the con gets to see a fresh teaser.

Rather than sharing the trailer that made O’Brien say, “Show that four times in the theater!”, Lionsgate released the special message from District 13 that opened their SDCC panel. Similar to the recently released posters from earlier this week, the latest promo encourages fans to join the revolution lead by Katniss Everdeen. You can check it below, followed by the official synopsis of the film:

The blockbuster Hunger Games franchise has taken audiences by storm around the world, grossing more than $2.2 billion at the global box office. ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ now brings the franchise to its powerful final chapter in which Katniss Everdeen realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival – they are for the future.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale, Finnick, and Peeta – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

We here at ScienceFiction.com are reminded of Janet Jackson’s ‘Rhythm Nation’ music video with hints of ‘Star Wars’ stormtroopers when we see that teaser, but what do you think about it? Are you excited for the finale of the ‘Hunger Games’ series? Or are you sad to see it end? Sound off in the comments.

‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2′ starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland hits theaters on November 20, 2015.
