Over the past several weeks, fans have been teased with bits of the transformation Jared Leto underwent to become the Joker, but now we have the final picture of the man who will play one of Batman’s most infamous villains.
The process was long and much anticipated. First we were shown as Leto became clean shaven and his long locks cut. Then we were privvy to the blond dye job with green tint. At one point, Leto gave an introduction that many felt hinted at the voice he would use as the character. The last image gave us Leto emulating the Joker’s pose from the cover of Brian Bolland’s ‘The Killing Joke’ which is felt to be the inspiration of the Joker we’ll be seeing on the big screen.
But now is the moment we have all been waiting for… and I must say, Leto looks magnificent! The image comes courtesy of director David Ayer who surprised fans with this tweet:
The Suicide Squad wishes you a Happy Anniversary Mr. J! #Joker75 #SuicideSquad @WarnerBrosEnt @DCComics pic.twitter.com/LZXz0x947Q
