WonderCon is going to be jam-packed this year (but hopefully not as anxiety-inducing as SDCC.) Check out some of these notable panels taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center April 3 – 5.

Friday, April 3

12 pm – Going Back to the Future – Room 207 – ‘Back the Future’ celebrates its 30th anniversary, and filmmakers Jason Aron, Louis Krubich and Lee Leshen talk about ‘Back in Time’, their upcoming documentary about the franchise.

1 pm – Star Trek: They’re Not Really Dead As Long As We Remember Them – Room 207 – Scott Mantz (‘Access Hollywood’) leads a panel dedicated to the impactful people Star Trek fans lost this year, including Leonard Nimoy, Harve Bennett and Maurice Hurley.

1:30 pm – Spotlight on Cullen Bunn – Room 208 – WonderCon Anaheim special guest Cullen Bunn broke into comics with books like ‘The Damned’ and ‘The Sixth Gun.’ Now he writes for several major publishers, working on books like ‘Magneto,’ ‘Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars,’ ‘Sinestro,’ ‘Lobo,’ ‘Aquaman,’ ‘Hellbreak,’ and ‘Harrow County.’ Join Cullen for a look at his upcoming projects and an open Q&A session.

5:00 pm – The Science of Star Wars – Room 207 -Could lightsabers ever be a reality? Does science matter when designing a Star Wars spacecraft? What does it take to resist the Dark Side of the Force? Fon Davis (production designer, Star Wars prequel movies), Bobak Ferdowsi (NASA flight engineer), Kieran Dickson (editor, Outerplaces.com), Travis Langley (Star Wars Psychology), and moderator Jenna Busch (Legion of Leia) break down the science behind a galaxy far, far away and discuss whether or not Kylo Ren’s Force Awakens lightsaber is sacrilege or genius.

6 pm – ‘Salem’ Panel – Room 300AB – Just in time for the season premier, ‘Salem’ stars Shane West, Janet Montgomery and Seth Gabel discuss season two.

Saturday, April 4

10 am – Superman: The Richard Donner Years Celebrity Super Reunion – Room 300AB – Jim Bowers and Jay Towers lead an all-star reunion of the cast of ‘Superman’ and ‘Superman II’ including Margot Kidder, Sarah Douglas, Valerie Perrine, Diane Sherry, Marc McClure, Jack O’Halloran, Aaron Smolinski, David Michael Petrou and Ilya Salkind.

11:30 am – Felicia Day Panel– Room 300DE – Actress Felicia Day talks about the latest from Geek & Sundry as well as her new book, ‘You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost)’.

12:30 pm – Warner Bros. Presentation – Room Arena – No information yet but Warner Bros is scheduled to make some big announcements here!

1:30 pm – ‘The Messengers’ Screening and Q & A – Room 300DE – Check out an exclusive screening of ‘The Messengers’ along with a panel discussion with cast members Shantel VanSanten, Jon Fletcher, J.D. Pardo, Joel Courtney, Diogo Morgado, Anna Diop and Craig Frank.

2:30 pm – ‘iZOMBIE’ Panel – Arena – Watch a special presentation and panel discussion with stars Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli, Robert Buckley, David Anders, along with executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright.

5 pm – ‘Falling Skies’ Panel – Room 300AB – Take a look at the final season of ‘Falling Skies’ along with a discussion with stars Moon Bloodgood, Drew Roy, Doug Jones and Sarah Carter.

6 pm – ‘Orphan Black’ Panel – Room 300AB – Special footage from season 3 along with a Q & A session with co-creator and writer Graeme Manson and stars Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Evelyne Brochu and Kristian Bruun.

Sunday, April 5

12:15 pm – ‘Powers’ Panel – Arena – Check out a preview of the remaining episodes of season 1 along with creators Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, showrunner Charlie Huston and stars Olseya Rulin and Logan Browning.

12:30 pm – Battlestar in Crisis – Room 300DE – Richard Hatch hosts a Q&A and discussion on the fate and future of Battlestar Galactica.

1:30 PM – ‘The Flash’ Panel – Arena – Check out a special presentation and Q & A with stars Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes along with executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg.

3:00 pm – Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog – Room 300AB – Come and enjoy an interactive screening of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog! Revel in the musical genius of The Whedons! But remember, the best part of the show is up to you!
