We have another new face on the cast of ‘Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ as Luke Mitchell (‘The Tomorrow People,’ ‘Home and Away’) has joined the cast!

While we don’t know a lot about his role quite yet, we do know that Mitchell will be playing one of the Inhumans that are going to be popping up on the show that goes by the name Lincoln. In the comics there isn’t an Inhuman that goes by that name that I could remember or find. Though, it wouldn’t be surprising if this was just a separate name that he is going by before they reveal his true identity.

His exact description is “a charismatic Inhuman named Lincoln who has an important role to play in Skye understanding the true extent of her transformation”. That doesn’t narrow down who he may end up playing as there are quite a few Inhumans who are charismatic. However, it sounds as if he’ll be getting a lot of screen time with Skye.

Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb says that:

“With the revelations surrounding Skye’s true identity in the Winter Finale, we knew we’d be introducing more Inhumans as our story progressed. The charming energy Luke brings to the role will make him a character to watch as we continue our season.”

It sounds as if he won’t be going anywhere for awhile either. It looks as if Marvel’ ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ really is going to be tying into the greater Marvel Universe and if this keeps up, may give us the first actual reveal of Black Bolt down the line before ‘The Inhumans’ hits the big screen on November 2nd, 2018 to finish up the Phase 3 line up.

Mitchell will be joining fellow newcomers Blair Underwood and fan favorite Edward James Olmos when the season returns.

Are you looking forward to Mitchell joining the cast? Any ideas on which Inhuman he might be playing? Speaking of Inhumans are you glad that the series is starting to look into them? Share your thoughts below True Believers!
