It wouldn’t be another week if we didn’t have a new rumor on the only movie that has a chance of outselling ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘ at the box office and today we may have found out more about what Gwendoline Christie and Mark Hamill might be up to in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ Will it have anything to do with the recent rumor that The Hutts are returning to ‘Star Wars’? Not likely.
If you don’t mind some potentially large spoilers, continue on and check out the rumors below! But don’t say we didn’t warn you!
First up is news of what Gwendoline Christie (‘Game of Thrones’) will be up to. Early rumors had her as an elite storm trooper that is set set to hunt down John Boyega’s character of Finn. It seems that this rumor may have been right on the money and she is a special breed called a “Shock Trooper.” Their distinguishing armor is a chrome version of the classic armor with a red and black cape. She will be a hostile woman with facial scars. Her weapon of choice is a lightsaber and she is the right hand of one of the highest ranking Imperial officers left.
On the other hand we’ve got Mark Hamill returning as Luke Skywalker. All the early reports have had him in hiding out on his own and will barely make an appearance in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens.’ This part still holds true with the new set of rumors. But hiding might be the wrong word. In fact he is actually guarding “an ancient Sith tomb” that Kylo Ren wants to open. Ren needs a specific lightsaber to do it (which we’ve heard many rumors of a lightsaber and a robotic hand being mentioned before.)
Again, at this time these are just rumors but they do appear to fit with the details that have come from the film so far.
