'Suicide Squad' DLC Pack Coming To 'Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham' In Early 2015

Following the recent announcement of the ‘Suicide Squad’ film, Warner Bros. has announced that ‘Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham’ will be getting a ‘Suicide Squad’ DLC pack.

Understandably re-named ‘The Squad’ in this DLC pack for clear reasons, the new ‘Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham’ add-on puts players in the roles of Deadshot, Deathstroke, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang and other members of this notorious team of rogues, as they try to hunt down a mysterious figure who has infiltrated the Belle Reve Penitentiary in order to uncover the secrets hidden there of Amanda Waller and ‘The Squad’.

‘The Squad’ DLC pack will be available to Season Pass holders sometime in early 2015. For those who haven’t purchased the $15 Season Pass, the pack will be available as an individual purchase for $2.99.

Already a game that features well over than 150 characters from the DC Comic universe including unique characters like Adam West, Conan O’ Brien and Kevin Smith, the addition of the ‘Suicide Squad’ to the roster of ‘Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham’ is definitely icing on the cake for comic book fans playing the game.

Just in case you haven’t been following the ‘Lego Batman’ games, longtime ‘Lego game’ developer Traveller’s Tales recently put out a new entry in the series entitled ‘Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham’ this past November. In it, players take on the role of Batman yet again as he journeys to outer space to join forces with super heroes and even villains of the DC comics universe in order to prevent the power hungry Brainiac from destroying the Earth. Howeverm in order to do so, Batman must journey to different worlds in order to obtain all of the Lantern Corp power rings if he hopes to stand a chance against the limitless power of Brainiac.
