There were rumors, which set fandom on fire, that the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ in the new Michael Bay-produced movie would actually be aliens.  But the latest trailer seems to debunk that completely.  “That’s stupid” announces Megan Fox as April O’Neil.  It looks like we can simply expect an updated version of the classic heroes in a half shell.  Whew!

However, things don’t look all that promising, as it seems someone very integral to the Turtle’s storyline may not make it to the end of the movie.  Just check it out for yourself:
