When we’re not standing around the ScienceFiction.com water cooler talking about the recent fun facts we had learned about the making of ‘Godzilla‘ in preparation for its May 16th release, we tend to be watching all of his roars throughout the years and the international trailers that have been released. However we now have some new behind the scenes footage to enjoy too!
In the latest footage we have a slew of mini-interviews with the cast and crew on how the film came together. On top of that, we also just got a ton of new footage from the film as well as how some of the scenes came together. Honestly, it looks amazing. Of course anyone who has been following my coverage knows that I am dying for the film to be released.
I am totally digging the look of the destruction here. I also appreciate the amount of detail they are even putting together on an individual level. Oh hey, did I mention we have a great new shot of the King of the Monsters from the latest issue of Fangoria? Talk about a great frontal shot of the monster that giant creature feature lovers are almost all dying to see on the big screen!
I’m excited for the film! Not only that, but I’m excited to get a good look of Godzilla in the theaters. They’ve shown us so many shots and teasers but have been keeping most of his appearances out of the trailers so far, so I cannot wait for the film to see the extended look. What do you think of the new shot of Godzilla? Did the latest featurette get you even more into the film with how clearly everyone involved with the project feels about it? Share your thoughts below!
‘Godzilla’ starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston, and Sally Hawkins hits theaters on May 16, 2014 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
