Yes, Michael Bay once again brings on explosions and lots of CGI as he takes the helm of yet another ‘Transformers’ film, ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’ and the much awaited trailer for the film has finally been unveiled!

As usual, there still is no plot description, but there is a lot of Bay influenced filming as seen in the vast destruction of the planet as well as the high energy action of the Autobots and Decepticons. But what most ‘Transformers’ fans were looking forward to since it was first rumored was the appearance of the Dinobots . In the trailer, we see Grimlock who just happens to have a sword swinging Optimus Prime riding him bronco style.

Also exciting was the appearance of a certain Decepticon riding a two-headed dragon.  And who is this Decepticon? Could it be Galvatron? The robot looks an awful like Megatron but if you recall, he seemed to have met his demise in the last film, ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’. However, those that know ‘Transformers’ cannon know that a defeated and near-dead Megatron was transformed by Unicron into a newer and more destructive robot, Galvatron. Oddly, this seems to all jive with the supposed leaked script of the film that Bay had denied over a year ago.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer was the most anticipated Super Bowl trailer according to a Fandango poll. Did it meet expectations or is this just another ‘Transformers’ film recycling the same ‘Transformers’ story?
