It’s December and the time when holiday songs begin to fill the air, so what else would be more apropos this season than to join in a sing-a-long with Captain Picard and the crew of the Enterprise?
Many may recognize the tune as the classic Christmas song ‘Let It Snow’, but since it’s Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart) singing, what better way to tweak the chorus than with his iconic ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ catch phrase (and include a few facepalms along the way that only Picard can do so well).
The video was created by YouTube user James Covenant who took clips from the series to bring the whole song together with appearances from other ‘ST: TNG’ crew members: William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Data (Brent Spiner), Worf (Michael Dorn), Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) and, of course, Wesley Crusher (Will Wheaton).
The entire video is truly epic and the result will make the Grinch in any geek become a lover of this new classic. So without further ado, here’s the video (or as Picard would say “Make it so”):
