It seems like just yesterday ‘The World’s End’ was in theaters and we were talking to director Edgar Wright and star Nick Frost about the epic finale to the Cornetto Trilogy, but alas, that was actually three months ago and the film has already made it’s way to Blu-ray and DVD. And as with many home releases these days, the film comes with a number of special features, including a few hilarious gag reels.

In an interview with WIRED, Wright reveals that some of the funniest and fondest moments from shooting the alien-invasion pub-crawl comedy can be found in the bloopers:

“It’s all on the Blu-ray. We worked really hard on that film. We shot it in like 12 weeks, not very long for how ambitious it is. And pretty much all of the times we cracked up are in those 12 minutes. Other than that it’s just working very hard.”

But for those of you who haven’t picked up your copy of the apocalyptic comedy yet, you can get a sneak peak at about five of those twelve minutes of bloopers. You can check them out in the two videos below:

And if you’ve been living under a rock which caused you to miss out on one of the funniest films of the year, then here’s the synopsis for the movie to further entice you to hit up Santa and put this very funny film on your Christmas list:

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year-old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their hometown and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub – The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.

‘The World’s End’ starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan, Martin Freeman, and Rosamund Pike is available on Blu-ray and DVD now.
