At last year’s New York Comic Con, the convention celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Joss Whedon’s short-lived fan-favorite show ‘Firefly’ by bringing together some of the key cast members for a delightful panel. This year, the convention paid tribute to yet another classic TV series as they brought in David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to honor the long-running sci-fi drama ‘The X-Files’. And if you missed out on the good times, then you’re in luck because our cameras were right there to catch all the action with FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

During this great talk back session, the pair discussed what their DVD commentary would sound like, how they felt about the ending of the series, and the relationship between their two characters. Also, the whole room was witness to quite an adorable display endorsed by Duchovny and Anderson. You can check out the highlights in the video below:

It’s really fun to see these two back together again. Sure, we can catch Mulder and Scully together in the season ten IDW comic book series, but hopefully we see them reunited in the flesh at some point in the future.

What are some of your fondest memories from ‘The X-Files’? Were you excited to see Agents Mulder and Scully back together again at New York Comic Con? Let’s here what you think in the comment section.
