Three months ago, fans were treated to the first red band trailer for Jeff Wadlow’s ‘Kick-Ass 2’ after much waiting. When that trailer dropped, all could see that it would be business as usual for Hit Girl, Kick-Ass, and Red Mist, who has redubbed himself the Mother F**ker in order to match his more bitter and vengeful attitude. But since then, we hadn’t gotten much in the promotional materials department besides a couple of similar trailers, but all that changes right now as a brand new featurette and trailer have been released.

The new trailer comes courtesy of Collider and it shows off an extended version of the training scene featuring Dave and Mindy that could be found in the first trailer. But besides that scene, we mostly get more of the same with a few new shots here and there. But while we have seen this stuff before, it hasn’t become any less fun since the last time, so go ahead and check out the new trailer below:

As for the featurette, MTV takes us behind the scenes of the upcoming film and talks to some of the stars including Chloe Grace Moretz, Donald Faison, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse about what audiences can expect from the follow up to the 2010 superhero cult hit. Also, you get some glances at some of the new faces that you’ll be seeing throughout the movie like Jim Carrey as Colonel Stars and Stripes. To see all that and more, check out the video below:

For more information on the movie, here’s the official synopsis:

After Kick-Ass’ insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl can prevent their annihilation. When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy.

Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire—leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes. Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.
