Yesterday, we reported that Jim Carrey was in talks to step into the role of Colonel Stars, the leader of the Avengers-esque team called Justice Forever, in ‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’. Now, it seems like another member of the team has just been cast in the form of Lindy Booth.

According to Collider, Booth, who previously worked with director Jeff Wadlow on ‘Cry_Wolf’ and also appeared in ‘Dawn of the Dead’ and ‘Wrong Turn’, is in talks for the role of Night Bitch, a heroine who was inspired by Kick-Ass and driven by the murder of her sister. Night Bitch will join Aaron Johnson’s Kick-Ass, Donald Faison’s Doctor Gravity, and Robert Emms’ Insect Man, hopefully alongside Carrey as Colonel Stars. With so many members of Justice Forever getting attention this week, it’s possible that the team will take a central role in the film, potentially targeting a human trafficking group like in the pages of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s comic.

Since I haven’t read the ‘Kick-Ass 2’ comic, I’m not too sure how Booth will fit in the role, but judging by the pictures, she seems to look the part.

‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’ starring Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Nicolas Cage is scheduled to start filming on September 10th. Currently, no release date has been set.
