In the next episode of Disney XD’s ‘Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends’… I mean, ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’, we’ll be introduced to this series version of The Sandman, and I’m not too sure that fans will like it too much. This Spider-Man show has already come under a whole lot of heat from the internet community, so I can only imagine how they’ll respond to this.
If you’re only looking at the pictures like the one above and the episode description, there’s no problem here and it’s all good in the hood, but of course there’s this clip, courtesy of Comic Book Movie. But before I get to that, here’s what’s going on in Spidey’s next adventure, titled ‘Snow Day’:
Spider-Man and his team sneak off for a vacation on a deserted tropical island. However, they soon realize something is not right with the island and the Sandman will make sure they never leave in a new episode of ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’.

So, Sandman is a whiny little kid? What on Earth are you guys thinking over there at Marvel TV? I’ll hold my final judgments for after I see the full episode, but I’m pretty confused by this decision. I’m all about taking creative liberties, but this is kinda ridiculous.
