With the latest trailer for Sony Pictures’ ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ expected to hit this weekend attached to the front of ‘The Avengers’, Spidey fans have been clamoring for any news as to what this new trailer might include.
Yesterday, Sony released a new poster for ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ along with a couple of screenshots of Peter Parker/Spider-Man looking a bit worse for the wear. Today, we’re treated to another couple of teasing images, this time featuring the Lizard. We still don’t get a great look at the creature but there is enough to give you an idea as to what the FX team is going for.
The first image is just the Lizard’s claw holding a camera that he appears to have lifted from a certain intrepid Daily Bugle cameraman.
The next image shows the Lizard menacing Dr. Ratha (played by Irrfan Khan). What’s sure to please fans is that the Lizard is wearing his trademark white labcoat that he’s worn off and on since his first appearance back in 1963’s ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #6.
So, what do you think of the Lizard so far? Comment below and sound off with your opinion!
‘Amazing Spider-Man’ is directed by Marc Webb, stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Dennis Leary. It swings into theaters in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.
