About Stuart Conover

Stuart Conover profile photo
Stuart Conover is a father, husband, blogger, published author, geek, entrepreneur, editor of Buy Zombie, horror fanatic, science fiction junkie, lives in a world of comics, and a casual gamer (all of this when his wife lets him of course.) He fell in love with science fiction and horror at the same time while watching the movie Alien at probably far too young of an age while still being extremely impressionable and has been happily obsessed with both since! Around the same time he had also developed an unhealthy addiction to comic books. While he was able to break free (at least from the comics) for 8 years he (like many addicts before him) has fallen back into the habit of reading them on a weekly basis. When not having too much on his plate for any healthy person he tries to skimp on sleep enough to get an eye straining amount of movies and television shows watched.
Favorites: Dune, Alien, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Star Wars, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Falling Skies, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Stargate, The Walking Dead, and everything mainstream Marvel.
Location: Westmont, IL

Well it’s been an interesting run for the new set of Thunderbolts so far. Over the past 12 months Red Hulk has put together a team that consists of himself, The Punisher, Venom, Elektra, Deadpool and Red Leader. His team basically is the equivalent of Wolverine’s little X-Force team doing black ops work that no […]

With Iron Man hanging out in space (before he starts his little jaunt with The Guardians of the Galaxy), you really have to wonder what he might be up to. In fact, you might be wondering how, while in space, they run an arc entitled The Secret Origins of Tony Stark. . Back in the day […]

With a cast that stars the likes of Chris Evans (‘Captain America: The First Avenger’), John Hurt (‘Doctor Who’), and Tilda Swinton (‘Constantine’) you would think that Bong Joon-Ho’s ‘Snowpiercer’ would already be picked up to be shown all over the United States. • Comic Book Review: ‘Venom’ #37

    Posted Friday, July 5th, 2013 12:00 pm GMT -4

While taking his break from being one of The Avengers, Flash Thompson has setup shop in Phily. I’m not sure exactly where this takes place in line with the current Thunderbolts story line though he seems pretty settled in here and not jaunting all over Europe as he is over there. While romping around his new […]
