About Michelle Ealey
I’ve been a geek since before I knew what the word meant. I was playing Atari before I was five, and television taught me how to read. From my father I got my love of science fiction and fantasy (the Holy Trinity in my house was Asimov, Herbert and Tolkien), and I learned how to appreciate good stories in any form from my mother. Writing has been a passion of mine since I was a teen. For the past ten years, I’ve been a science teacher.
Favorites: Books: 'Frankenstein,' 'The Lord of the Rings,' and anything by Octavia E. Butler. TV Shows: 'The X-Files,' all 'Star Trek,' 'The Vampire Diaries,' 'Fringe,' and 'Quantum Leap.' I have many more. I love TV. Films: 'Star Trek,' '2001: A Space Odyssey,' and 'Metropolis.' Video Games: 'The Legend of Zelda,' The 'Mass Effect' and 'Dragon Age' franchises, 'Bastion,' and 'Skyrim'. On Xbox, I'm Chelle1800; on Steam, I'm Chelle. In SWTOR, I'm Devlora, a Sith Sorcerer on the Mind Trick server.

‘Fringe: The End Of All Things’ – Recap
I do not know how to react to this episode. One of the things I enjoy about ‘Fringe’ is the aspect of parallel universes. I am not a fan of time travel stories, but parallel timelines I can handle. The “What If?” tangents that are created from certain decisions are interesting... -

‘Fringe: A Better Human Being’ – Recap
I’m still reeling from the last moment of this episode. The last scene raises a lot of questions that of course won’t be dealt with until next week or later. At first this episode seems to be just about a boy who can hear the thoughts of others, but it is the moments outside... -

Did The Movie ‘The Core’ Get Anything Right?
Sometimes one has to find out if a film is as bad as almost everyone says it is. This was the case with me and ‘The Core.’ I had to discover if the movie is really that bad. And it is. The acting is overwrought, the dialogue is hollow and trite, and the premise is ludicrous.... -
‘Fringe: Welcome To Westfield’ Episode 412 – Recap
Ever since David Robert Jones returned, we have been wondering what the plan is. He is working with or for Nina Sharp. Since he gets instructions from her, I suspect she is not a shapeshifter. Although Nina and Jones are not in this episode, a small town in Vermont is the victim... -
