About Janice Kay

Janice Kay profile photo
At first glance, Janice seems like the typical mom driving the carpool, volunteering for the PTA, and baking cookies. But anytime the need arises, she becomes Super Geek: defender of conspiracy theories, protector of scientific theorems and lover of things science fiction. Her first memories of the genre are watching repeats of the original Star Trek and Doctor Who episodes (Tom Baker was her first Doctor). Soon, her addiction spread to books, magazines, movies and comics. At one point in her childhood, she even kept a running list of superheroes and the names of their alter egos. When not writing for ScienceFiction.com, Janice is working on her own deal saving blog, raising her kids, baking cookies and scouring the internet to feed her sci-fi craving.
Favorites: Doctor Who, Warehouse 13, Star Trek: TNG, Quantum Leap, X-Men movies
