About Cathy Kammer

Cathy Kammer profile photo
Cathy Kammer grew up reading everything she could get her hands on, and by fourth grade was getting in trouble for reading book reports about Stephen King's Carrie to her Catholic school classmates. She's had a soft spot for paranormal stories ever since Ghostbusters and has always identified with the outsiders of society. She was first made to watch Star Wars in high school after confusedly asking a friend, "I thought Leia was Luke's girl...?" She spent most Saturdays of her life watching the X-Men cartoon and Star Trek: TNG. Long before Nathan Fillion, she crushed on Wil Wheaton. Nerdy guys are still the cutest. She loves dark humor, dogs and cats that look like Ewoks, and good storytelling (no matter the genre), and she's pretty famous for her laugh. When she's not watching, reading, or blogging, she's most likely crafting, playing WoW, or texting one of her many BFFs.
Favorites: Joss Whedon, Luke Cage, The Walking Dead, Buffy, Katniss, and Harry Potter. If it's geared for a nerd or a preteen girl, she will most likely love it.
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
