About Brian Tudor

Brian Tudor profile photo
One of Brian’s earliest Sci-Fi memory is the Rancor from Jedi, even before that he could be seen running around the yard with an imaginary Luke Skywalker, stuffed Chewbacca in tow, fighting the dark side. Frank Herbert’s Dune further refined his Sci-Fi taste and the love affair was set in place. It was the discovery of comic books and superheroes that put him over the edge. After a brief hiatus from comics, Kevin Smith’s run on Green Arrow brought him back to the land of tights, flight, super speed and gadgets galore! Currently his home office is littered with action figures, posters, DVD’s and comic book, all threatening to overtake him at any time. After years as a DC Fanboy he is learning to love Marvel Comic's again, especially now that Greg Rucka is writing The Punisher.
Favorites: Farscape, Star Wars, Dune, Robin/Nightwing, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, BSG, Falling Skies, Thundercats, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Cyclops, Iceman, Nightcrawler
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

I feel like I’m out of the loop… when did Flash Thompson and Peter Parker become BFF’s? To be honest I’m not sure I’m ready  to live in a world where Peter and Flash are anything other than bully and bullied. All that aside, I loved ‘The Amazing Spider-Man #654.1, love it. Flash Thompson is […]

  • Comic Book Review: ‘What if Venom… Possessed Deadpool? #1′

I’m treading lightly, as I reenter the Marvel Universe, so I couldn’t help but pick up, ‘What If Venom… possessed Deadpool? #1′, this week. Now to be 100% clear and honest, Marvel fell from grace for me a couple of years ago when they killed Aunt May, and then immediately retconned about 15 years of […]

‘Batman & Robin’ Issue 20 welcomes the new creative team of Peter Tomasi, Patrick Gleason and Mick Gray. Tomasi is coming off a very successful run on the ‘Green Lantern Corps’ book, and has been a huge contributor to Brightest Day. To say I’m excited to see what he is going to do with ‘Batman […]

  • Comic Book Review: ‘Batgirl #18 Chalk (heart) Outline’

One day I would like to ask Batgirl scribe Bryan Q. Miller, “How exactly do you channel a kick-ass 18 year-old superheroine so well?” Miller has taken a character that could do no right in the Bat-books and morphed her from the bumbling gang war-starting Spoiler, into a new and impressive Batgirl. In this one-shot […]
