One of the best films of 2014 was definitely Gareth Evans’ Indonesian martial arts thriller ‘The Raid 2.’ Not only has it been praised for its spectacular camerawork and editing, but the fight choreography and the hyper-violence show that there’s incredible beauty in brutality sometimes. And while credit for that also deserves to go to […]

Though it managed to fall short of making my most anticipated films of 2015, I’m really looking forward to ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ After many years of stop and go, George Miller’s return to the post-apocalyptic world of the Road Warrior is finally hitting theaters this year and it looks insanely awesome. After getting the […]

In the final days of 2014, a number of new reports concerning Peyton Reed’s ‘Ant-Man’ hit the web (which ironically is some place an ant would not want to be). In addition to some potential details that might tie the Phase Two finale to the ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and the rest of Phase Three, […]

In addition to looking back on some of the best films of the past year, many people take some time right around now to look at the year ahead to see what’s in store. While some may look at some significant sports matches or can’t miss concerts, for us here at ScienceFiction.com, that means we […]

The Christmas season was in full swing as the first day of Christmas has brought us a partridge in a pear tree (at least in song), some good times with our families and friends, and the annual ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas special.
