Earlier this month, Warner Bros. officially announced that rising star Eddie Redmayne would star as Newt Scamander in the upcoming ‘Harry Potter’ prequel/spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.’ But around the same time, we learned of some other potential characters that could be appearing in the film directed by David Yates and written by […]

  • Hugh Jackman Says Wolverine Recasting Is Inevitable

Back in March, Hugh Jackman announced that he would be retiring from the role of Wolverine after his last few commitments. Though he’s rumored to have cameos in ‘Deadpool’ and ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’, the currently untitled 2017 sequel to ‘The Wolverine’ will definitely be it for the 46-year-old Australian actor as the X-Men’s resident Canucklehead. But […]

About 10 months ago, we learned that  Roberto Orci would be executive producing the latest feature film  from the long-running series ‘Power Rangers’ for Lionsgate and Saban. ‘X-Men: First Class’ and ‘Thor’ writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz boarded shortly after that to work on the script, but production really kicked into gear in April when […]

Way back in season one of ‘The Walking Dead’, Rick Grimes and his group learned that every living thing is infected with the zombie virus thanks to a visit to the Center for Disease Control. And since the upcoming companion series ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ takes place in the same world (albeit earlier in the timeline), […]

Actors always find themselves in interesting situations on the job. Often comedic actors and actresses are the ones to be in the most outrageous predicaments. Jim Carrey coming out of a rhino’s butt in ‘Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls’ comes to mind, but apparently we almost saw Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard end up […]

  • The Avengers Assemble For ‘Ant-Man’ Posters & TV Spot

When Marvel and Disney announced that ‘Ant-Man’ was happening, a good portion of the public that isn’t familiar with the character gave a great big side eye. After all, shrinking and controlling ants doesn’t exactly compare to heightened physical attributes, a high tech suit of armor, or a hammer that controls lightning in terms of […]

There’s no denying that ‘Star Wars’ changed the game. George Lucas’ tale from a galaxy far far away impacted the lives of countless people that have laid eyes on it since it premiered in 1977. Among those generations are filmmakers that have been influenced by the adventures of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo […]

Just like a number of late night television fans, Lionsgate is Team Coco. In fact, the studio is such a fan of Conan O’Brien that they’re bringing in the Emmy Award-winning comedian and talk show host to moderate their panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. According to a recent press release, Lionsgate will be […]

As the old saying goes, the clothes make the man. In a world of superheroes, it certainly rings true. At least, in the literal sense because you can differentiate them from your average pedestrian when they’re suited up. But over the course of time, a hero’s uniform may evolve. That person may need to be […]

  • WB’s ‘Akira’ Adaptation Back On With ‘Daredevil’ Showrunner

Since Warner Bros. acquired the rights back in 2008, the studio has tried over and over again to develop a live-action adaptation of ‘Akira.‘ The feature film based on Katsuhiro Otomo‘s popular anime and six-volume manga from the 1980s was plagued at various stages of production by script issues, an extremely high budget, and fan outcries […]

  • Bryan Singer Teases Awesome Quicksilver Scene In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

There were a number of memorable sequences in ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past.’ The various scenes in the future spotlighting Bishop, Warpath, Kitty Pryde, and the others against the Sentinels comes to my mind immediately, although most people will probably bring up the daring prison breakout featuring Quicksilver. If you’re one of those True Believers that […]

After becoming famous for their “crazy animal hybrids fighting” movies or the “some sort of natural disaster made worse by vicious animals” movies, Syfy is going back to their roots with some good, old-fashioned science fiction thanks to the new series ‘Killjoys.’ Unfortunately, it’s not an adaptation of Gerard Way’s awesome Dark Horse comic, but […]

Up until now, the details surrounding the plot and characters in Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ have been largely shrouded in mystery. • Recently Uncovered ‘Star Wars’ Script Reminds Fans That Han Shot First

    by

A popular phrase among the ‘Star Wars’ fandom is “Han Shot First”. The reason for this is that when the original trilogy was rereleased back in 1997, George Lucas re-cut the scene in the Mos Eisley cantina to make the bounty hunter Greedo shot first so that Han Solo was just acting in self-defense and […]
