Before Ryan Reynolds slips back into the Marvel Universe as the Merc with a Mouth in ‘Deadpool,’ he takes on a whole different sort of killer in ‘The Voices.’ From ‘Persepolis’ and ‘Chicken With Plums’ director Marjane Satrapi, this Sundance Film Festival darling follows a bathtub factory worker from a small town named Jerry that […]

When I was younger, I remember live action medieval fantasy films being much awesome. Of course back then I was watching ‘The Dark Crystal,’ ‘Labyrinth,’ ‘The Neverending Story,’ and ‘The Princess Bride’ for the first time, but movies that actually came out during my childhood like ‘Lord of the Rings,’ the first few Harry Potter […]

  • TV Review: ‘Agent Carter: The Iron Ceiling’

After starting off strong, I felt like ‘Agent Carter’ was progressing much slower than a limited series should. Since we only get eight episodes, one would assume that Leviathan would be more present in the proceedings, but that just wasn’t the case. However, with all the criticism that I’ve had for the show so far, […]

  • Will We See ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Characters In ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’?

Back in 2013, writer and director Joss Whedon revealed that Phil Coulson probably wouldn’t appear in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ because at the time he already had “too much movie.” With everything that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are set to endure while facing the raging robot played by James Spader, that’s quite understandable. Plus, we’ll be […]

Fans have been demanding a Black Widow movie starring Scarlett Johansson since the character made her first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though that film may not be in the cards at the moment, Natasha Romanoff has certainly made her presence felt in ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier.’ Plus, we’ve been assured […]

After it’s release in late 2013, ‘Frozen’ became a bona fide hit that racked up awards, spawned theme park attractions, and provided songs that have probably not left your head since you first heard them a million plays ago. But the one thing that we have yet to see is a sequel. Sure, there have been […]

Earlier this week, ‘Jurassic World’ launched a pretty epic viral marketing website featuring “live” park cams and a ton more, but they weren’t the only ones to launch a new site following an ad shown during last Sunday’s Super Bowl. Walt Disney Pictures has done the same thing for ‘Tomorrowland’ and their site has some […]

Last month, we learned that Marvel Studios’ Creative Research Director Will Corona Pilgrim would be penning a prelude comic series for ‘Ant-Man’ prior to the film’s release later this year. This adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would find Dr. Hank Pym suiting up in his size-shifting superhero suit and teaming with Peggy Carter during […]

Back in 2013, fans were ecstatic to learn that Marvel Studios was slowly gaining back some of their properties from other entities.
