‘Kick-Ass 2’. It’s something that ‘Kick-Ass’ fans have wanted since the cliffhanger ending at the end of the first movie. IMDB even has a page for the sequel already, with the title being ‘Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall’, even though nothing had been officially announced yet. When he spoke to the LA Times back […]

It’s not new information that movie studios are constantly on the lookout for tent pole properties to make into multi-film franchises. They make a lot of money, provide many opportunities for merchandising, and it makes their fat checks even fatter. Never mind that it clutters the movie theaters with adaptations and sequels every year, leaving […]

I am a Marvel guy. I have stuck by Marvel through some of the hardest times. I tried to find the good in ‘X3: The Last Stand’. I put up with the worst Venom I’ve ever seen in my entire life in ‘Spider-man 3’. And even though I blasted ‘X-men Origins: Wolverine’ and heralded it […]

From the Matrix to… Canada? Doesn’t sound too bad, except for the feral cannibals. I’m pretty sure Laurence Fishburne can handle the many perils of The Great White North, cannibals or not. But Morpheus isn’t heading up there for no reason. THR is reporting that Fishburne is in final negotiations to star in ‘The Colony’, […]

Who would have thought that there was a demand for more human vs angel violence on television? Well, apparently Syfy seems to think that’s exactly what we want to see because they’re developing a series version of the 2010 supernatural thriller ‘Legion’, which starred Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, and NBC’s failed Wonder Woman […]
