I read the second and third books from the library because there was a long wait for the first book. I was so hooked! I couldn't wait and had to purchase the set so I could continue reading. When I got it, I started with the first book and re-read the second and third before continuing the series. The books are fun to read and not gory at all. They also have great humor that makes me laugh out loud. If you love True Blood you will love these books!

I started watching the series and then half way threw the third season I bought the book series. I had hear from friends it was a great series. I must say it is. I love the books almost as much as I love the series, they do have different people in there and how things played out, but it is worth the read if you like the series like I do.
