Avengers: Endgame

Some viewers are on the fence seeing films in IMAX format, so the company has decided to release a comparison version of the last ‘Avengers: Endgame‘ trailer. It is the same trailer that we all saw online recently, but it shows off how different the two editions will be on the two screens.

Specifically, the trailer shares that “Avengers: Endgame is the second Hollywood film to be shot entirely with IMAX cameras. This means that the entire film will be presented with up to 26% more picture, only in IMAX.” While not every movie fully benefits from the IMAX experience, this trailer is showing exactly how much that missing 26% will look like in a standard viewing.

With ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ being the first movie ever to be shot entirely in the IMAX format, it should come as no surprise that the Russo Brothers would film the sequel in the same manner as they were shot back to back.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ was a stunning visual experience, and you can’t doubt that the sequel will be just as exciting to experience in all its glory. This also seems to be the perfect place for the crew to have slipped in an elusive Easter Egg or two that wouldn’t have mattered to the overall plot but be a bonus for those taking in the full experience.

After seeing the trailer showing off what you’ll be missing if you don’t check out ‘Avengers: Endgame’ in IMAX, has that changed where you’ll be experiencing the movie? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!
