While the next season of ‘Doctor Who’ isn’t set to premiere until 2020, the cast has remained hard at work!
The official ‘Doctor Who’ Twitter account released a photo featuring time-traveling best friends Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole, along with an announcement that the show is, in their words, “back in production!” Check it out below!

Whittaker confirmed in December that she would continue on in her role as the Doctor in the next season. Showrunner Chris Chibnall also announced that, despite the gap between seasons, the cast and crew never stopped working. Chibnall said:
“We’re off again! Well, we never actually stopped — as Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor and friends have been winning the hearts of families, we’ve been busy with a whole new set of action-packed adventures for the Thirteenth Doctor. We adore making this show and have been blown away by the response from audiences, so we can’t wait to bring more scares, more monsters and more Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill, and Tosin Cole. Brilliant!”
