Glass

It looks like when we see ‘Glass‘ that the ending that is shown on the big screen will have changed quite a bit from what was initially planned. The news came from Samuel L. Jackson who is reprising the part of Elijah Price, better known as the villain Mr. Glass, in the film.

According to Jackson, director M. Night Shyamalan had to rework some of the film due to something which had happened in the real world:

“There was a different ending when we first started this that kind of needed to be changed because of the way society is and what’s going on in the world and what it would have looked like.”

Unfortunately, Jackson didn’t elaborate as to what events he is referring to so it is hard to imagine what exactly caused any changes to be made. This makes you wonder if the muddled mess that some early reviews are complaining about could be directly tied to having to change the ending and likely some of the earlier scenes for the movie. Hopefully, once ‘Glass’ has been in theaters for a couple of weeks either he or Shyamalan will enlighten us about this detail.
