Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse

In a movie that has a million Easter Eggs, cameos, and more, it should come as no surprise that every aspect of ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ is going to end up getting analyzed by audiences across the globe. Producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller have been asked all kinds of questions so far about the movie, and one of the more fun ones has come from a throwaway gag. In the gag, we ended up seeing a promotional ad for a new Seth Rogen film called ‘Holds Your Horses: Riding High In The Saddle.’

When the duo are asked about the movie they shared that:

Phil Lord: Hold Your Horses is actually a sequel to an earlier Seth Rogen jockey film.

Chris Miller: It’s about an unlikely jockey just trying to make his way in a world of tiny people.

I’m loving that this is actually a sequel to another Rogen film and seems entirely like a movie we could end up seeing him star in. Not only that but the animators really captured his look perfectly. Sadly, the two don’t share what the first film was called or what this series is about outside of Rogen looking to be some form of a jockey.

The star himself was thrilled at this portrayal and even took to Twitter to share it:

I’m wondering if this will become a trend and we’ll see Spider-people swinging past fake Rogen movies in all of the future outings. At the very least, I’d love to see phony movie posters in all of the upcoming films that deliver just as fun of a title and shot as this one did!

You can hear Lord and Miller discussing this film in the video below:

What do you think ‘Holds Your Horses: Riding High In The Saddle’ is actually about? Do you have any guesses on the first film in this fake franchise? Are there any actors you hope will get this kind of treatment in the next Spider-Verse movie? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!
