We’ve seen a slew of the villains who will be found in ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘ and the latest trailer adds one more as Doctor Octopus is going to be introduced as well! One of Spidey’s best villains will be included in the film and while he isn’t the largest enemy that the Wallcrawlers will need to go up against, he is still one of the most iconic from Spidey’s history. With there being plenty of flashbacks already shown in the movie, it is hard to imagine that Ock wouldn’t play some kind of role in at least one of them.
The one warning here is while you do get to see his tentacles, they only show up briefly and the rest of Otto Octavius is off-screen in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment. Most of this trailer is footage that we’ve already seen including our heroes and villains such as Kingpin, The Prowler, Scorpion, and Green Goblin. With many having a slightly changed look to them, it will be interesting to see if the man who switches bodies with Parker in the comics will also get a fresh coat of paint in this animated feature.

We know that Miles Morales is the primary focus on this film and with the trippy background that we’re seeing here it is hard to tell if Doc Ock is actually going to be included in the movie or if this is a flashback of some kind.
