With the tragic passing of Stan Lee, our time with the creative icon on the big screen will soon be coming to an end. While the creator of the “X-Men” won’t be appearing in ‘Dark Phoenix‘ before the mutants head over to Marvel Studios, we hear that he will have a voice cameo in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse’!
Here’s what directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller had to say about his appearance:
“When we came in, we thought we were going to pitch him ideas, but he ended up pitching us no less than seven ideas in a 45-minute meeting. That’s just the kind of guy he was — an idea machine. He seemed to be a man to whom creation was as automatic as breathing. We were lucky to have him adorn our movie [Spider- Man: Into the Spider-Verse, opening Dec. 14] with his voice [cameo].”
The more Stan Lee we can get, the better. It is fitting that the creation Lee is most known for will be one of his final appearances.
