Spider-Man

The first DLC for Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man’ on the PlayStation 4 titled “The Heist” is slated to be released on October 23rd and to celebrate this fact we wanted to share something from the game with you. Jumping back to the launch trailer we’ve found that there was an iteration released that was mixed in with the music from the 90s cartoon theme song! While this doesn’t feel like it should sync up, the entire production plays to the song perfectly.

You can check it out right here!

While quite dated now, the original cartoon felt ahead of its time when it was released just like fans of The Wallcrawler have been feeling the same way about the new game. It looks and plays spectacularly and is just an amazingly fun experience. With Felicia Hardy returning as Black Cat to steal your hearts in the latest update, this trailer remix should steal your hearts and fill them with the glee that anyone who watched the show back in the 90s should feel!

The new downloadable content is adding a new “Resilient” suit designed for the game, the Spidey suit from Scarlet Spider II, and the Spider-UK suit from the Spider-Verse. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait for DLC to unlock the suit which was used in the cartoon as it was the “Vintage Comic Book Suit” that was already included in the game and used in both the comics and cartoon. Just, don’t hope to be able to use it right off the bat if you’re new to the game as you have to be level 41 and be able to craft it with our backpack tokens, four challenge tokens, and four crime tokens.

What did you think of this fun remixed trailer for Marvel’s ‘Spider-Man’ game? Did you prefer the classic soundtrack from the cartoon or the new one from the game? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!
