Crimes Of Grindelwald

‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ is just one month away! Warner Bros. just released a new featurette revealing more plot details. Alongside the featurette was an announcement for online ticket sales for a special early screening of the sequel!

Some may find it shocking to find out that the story of ‘The Crimes of Grindelwald’ is centered heavily around Credence. The troubled character portrayed by Ezra Miller was presumed dead at the end of the first ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film, and how he would fit into the sequel was kept under wraps until now.

In the featurette, author and screenwriter J.K. Rowling teases:

“The reason everyone goes to Paris, really, is Credence.”

While Rowling doesn’t go into detail about Credence and what put him at the center of the action, the featurette shows Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) trying to bring the Obscurial to his side, and Dumbledore (Jude Law) asking Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to find Credence and stop Grindelwald’s evil plan.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about the featurette was the announcement of online ticket sales to a special early screening for the film! The Fantastic Fandom Event takes place on November 13, giving fans the chance to see the sequel three days early! You can buy tickets here.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical
beings, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware
of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest
friends and family, in an increasingly divided world.

‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ opens in theaters on November 16.
