Jack Black will be back to reprise his role as R.L. Stine in ‘Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween‘ and the latest clip also shares some of Slappy’s return. We all knew the character would already be back, but as the movie is being released for the Halloween season, it is fun that we get to see him doing some Halloween shopping! Oh, he’s also bringing back some old friends that you might be looking forward to seeing.
Ari Sandel is directing this sequel which is set to star Wendi McLendon-Covey (‘The Goldbergs’), Chris Parnell (‘Anchorman’), Madison Iseman (‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’), Ben O’Brien (‘Manchester by the Sea’), Caleel Harris (‘Castle Rock’), Jeremy Ray Taylor (‘IT’), and Peyton Wich (‘Stranger Things’). This will be a new adventure in the live-action world of ‘Goosebumps,’ and as the first had been a hit with younger audiences, it hopefully won’t be the last.
