Get ready for the Funko Forecast! This is where we’re going to be showcasing all of the cool new announcements and reveals from Funko! With all of the awesome that consistently seems to be flowing out of those guys, it shouldn’t be hard to keep this section alive each and every week!

Funko Is On The Run

Late last year Marvel and Hulu teamed up to bring us a live-action adaptation of their fan-favorite teen drama with superpowers comic series, ‘The Runaways’! The comic tells the story of six teens discovering that they all have special abilities and that their parents aren’t necessarily the upstanding citizens they once thought them to be! Now the team at Funko is bringing the show to your collection with an all-new series of POP! Vinyls! The line will be comprised of our six lead teen characters; Alex Wilder, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hernandez, Chase Stein, and Gert Yorkes. Sadly (and really kind of criminally) we aren’t getting a POP! Vinyl of Gert’s pet Velociraptor ‘Old Lace’ just yet, but here’s hoping we see her as a convention or retailer exclusive soon! These are due to hit stores in the next few weeks!

The Hunt Is On

The latest film in the ‘Predator’ franchise, simply titled ‘The Predator’, is set to hit theaters in just a few short weeks! Naturally, Funko is just as excited as the rest of us so they’ve planned a whole wave of new POP! Vinyls to be released alongside the film! The main wave will be comprised of The Fugitive Predator, The Assassin Predator, and The Predator Hound. In addition to the main line of common figures, there will be chase variants of the Fugitive Predator (Unmasked) and the Predator Hound (Green instead of the common Red), as well as retailer exclusives like the Heat Vision Predator Hound (Amazon exclusive), a Black Chrome Unmasked Fugitive Predator (FYE exclusive) and Rory with Predator Mask (FunkoShop exclusive).. These are all set to hit stores alongside the film’s release this fall!

Funko Brings 10 Years Of Marvel Studios To Your Pockets

This year Marvel is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the whopping nineteen films that it has produced so far under the Marvel Studios brand! The team at Funko has decided to celebrate with an all-new wave of Pint Size Heroes that cherry picks a number of fan-favorite characters from across all 19 films and presents them to you in blind-bagged stylized mini-figure form! Characters included that we know about so far include Captain America and The Red Skull from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, Black Widow and The Hulk from “Avengers: Age Of Ultron’, Thor, Loki, and Hela from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, Antman, Doctor Strange, Thanos, Shuri, and Iron Man Mark II! Hopefully we will see even more characters to fill in our Marvel Cinematic Universe Pint Size Heroes collection after these release this fall!

Four Frightful Funko 5-stars!

Funko’s new 5-Star line of stylized articulated figures is getting a whole new wave of horror-themed characters straight out of your worst nightmares! Coming to the Funko 5-Star line this fall just in time for Halloween are ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger, ‘Friday The 13th’s Jason Voorhees, ‘Childspaly’s Chucky The Doll, and ‘Stephen King’s It’s Pennywise The Clown! Each figure will include character specific accessories and come in a window display box. These are set to release in October!

Scary and Savage

We first saw these back at New York Toy Fair in February, and we still can’t believe these exist. Hitting stores this October is the new Funko horror themed Savage World figures! These figures take a stylized approach similar to the classic ‘Masters Of The Universe’ figures of the 1980’s and mashes it together with your favorite pop culture licenses! The newest wave is all horror themed, with Savage World figures of Freddy Krueger, Michael Meyers, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface, and Pinhead all entering the fray! Be sure to look out for these in stores this fall!
