Cyborg

It looks like the stand-alone ‘Cyborg‘ movie may end up including unused footage from ‘Justice League.’ From needing to cut down time for the length of the DC ensemble movie to changing directors halfway through production, there was quite a lot of footage which ended up on the cutting room floor. So, it seems that at least part of it will be finding a way onto the big screen for fans to see after all, even if it isn’t from the fabled Snyder Cut which is still being asked for.

The news comes from Joe Morton who played Silas Stone in the movie. Silas is the father of Victor Stone otherwise known as Cyborg and performed by Ray Fisher.

In an interview with /Film, Morton talked about how much of what he and Fisher filmed for ‘Justice League’ were left on the cutting room floor:

“There was [more we shot]. They completely changed the story.
Unfortunately, I can’t tell you what [the original story] is because that might end up being in part of the Cyborg movie. Yes, there was a big change once they decided that they were going to do the Cyborg film.”

Morton doesn’t know much more about the upcoming Cyborg film stating:

“I know there’s supposed to be a Cyborg movie they’re going to shoot in 2020. That’s all I know. I haven’t seen a script. I think the idea is to deal more with his family, so you watch the evolution of him becoming Cyborg.”

This seems to help push the theory that Cyborg’s solo movie may be an origin story!
