Arrow Batwoman

Fans are very hungry for any details about the first introduction of a member of a Bat-family to the Arrowverse this fall, information we first learned about during Upfronts this past spring when Stephen Amell and CW President Mark Pedowitz announced that Batwoman would be showing up to make her introduction in this year’s big cross-over event, not to mention the fact that we would see Gotham City in the Arrowverse for the first time as well. Now, everyone is on the lookout for any hints about casting or character details. That HashTag Show had a recent exclusive which MIGHT include some info on Batwoman in new character descriptions ‘Arrow’ has released while looking to cast for the coming season.

Here’s the scoop from That HashTag Show:

Dover – male in his 30-40s who is teased as a physically intimidating player. Even though he may not be the brightest person in the room, anyone who is in his presence will feel incredibly small. Whether or not “Dover” is a cover name for a DC character or not, he will be recurring this season.

Leah – 30-something woman who is a world-class mercenary who was born to be a leader. Don’t mess with this one because once you see what “Leah” has in her toolbox of skills, you will see why those are known across the world.

Angeline – a diverse woman in her 30s, she is a fierce fighter despite of her smaller stature. Not only is she experienced in stealth, “Angeline” is able to wipe out buildings filled with foes all by herself before she is gone like a ghost. It will be made very clear that “Angeline” thinks incredibly highly of her work.”

The character to keep on eye on is clearly “Angeline,” as most of what it says could easily apply to Kate Kane, aka Batwoman, especially the parts pertaining to her wiping out buildings filled with enemies before being “gone like a ghost,” a trick that Batman has done for years. Add to that the part about her thinking “incredibly highly of her work,” (who wouldn’t when they were trained by Batman). The money is on Angeline being a code-name for Kate Kane and for Kate to show up and recur for a few episodes on ‘Arrow’ before Batwoman makes her full introduction in the crossover episode this year. But we could just be barking up the wrong tree.
