It’s been fourteen long years, but the sequel to Pixar’s classic superhero pastiche ‘The Incredibles’ is almost here! When it arrives in theaters, ‘Incredibles 2’ will reunite audiences with the once and future superheroes who make up the Parr family and their extraordinary friends. While we still have to wait two weeks to see the full film, Disney has released a new set of clips to whet our appetites.
Both clips expand on sequences glimpsed in the film’s trailers and give us a look at both the heroic and domestic sides of the film’s story. The first shows the Incredibles in action as they pursue the Underminer, picking up from the conclusion of the original film. The second is an expanded version of the trailer scene in which Jack-Jack vanishes, only to reappear when a disheveled Bob offers him a cookie.

The official synopsis for ‘Incredibles 2’ reads as follows:
In ‘Incredibles 2’, Helen is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet, Dash, and baby Jack-Jack – whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
