Walt Disney Animation Studios has released a trailer for ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2!’
The second film the in ‘Wreck it Ralph’ franchise takes the action away from Litwak’s video arcade and takes our favorite characters into the mysterious and chaotic world of the internet. Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) must navigate the world wide web to find a replacement part and save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.
The two get in way over their heads and must rely on the citizens of the internet, known as the netizens, for help. A website entrepreneur named Yesss (Taraji P. Henson) is the head algorithm and the brains behind trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and becomes crucial to Ralph and Venellope’s success.
All of the Disney Princesses make an appearance in the film, including Auli‘i Cravalho (Moana), Kristen Bell (Anna), Kelly Macdonald (Merida), Mandy Moore (Rapunzel), Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Irene Bedard (Pocahontas), Linda Larkin (Jasmine), Paige O’Hara (Belle) and Jodi Benson (Ariel). The classic figures appear in glorious CGI to help Ralph and Vanellope in their adventure!
The sequel was directed by Rich Moore (‘Zootopia,’ ‘Wreck-It Ralph’) and Phil Johnston (co-writer ‘Wreck-It Ralph,’ ‘Cedar Rapids,’ co-writer ‘Zootopia’), and produced by Clark Spencer. Here is the official synopsis for the film:
Taking place six years after saving the arcade from Turbo’s vengeance, the Sugar Rush arcade cabinet has broken, forcing Ralph and Vanellope to travel to the Internet via the newly-installed Wi-Fi router in Litwak’s Arcade to retrieve the piece capable of saving the game.
