We’ve been hearing about Shane Black’s take on ‘The Predator’ over at Fox for quite some time now and finally, a synopsis has been revealed! It doesn’t go too into detail but does give us enough to support everything major which we’ve heard about the film so far. There is one key take away concerning the Predators themselves here that I’m eager to see play out on the big screen.

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
So the entire Predator race has now “genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species” means we could be seeing new abilities, looks, and more! I’m curious is we’ll be seeing any hybrid hints at other alien species from films or even Xenomorphs.
The possibilities are endless, and these non-stop killing machines sound as if they’ll be more dangerous than we’ve ever seen them before.
While it is curious that a young boy triggers their return to Earth, we were previously told that we’d find out exactly why they keep coming back, and I’m curious as to if that’ll be related to it.
