Tati Gabrielle is the latest cast member added to Netflix’s ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’. She will play a Mean Girl named Prudence that menaces Sabrina at the Academy of Unseen Arts.
Gabrielle will play Prudence, a student at the Academy of Unseen Arts and the de facto leader of a trio of witches known as the Weird Sisters. Beautiful and cunning, Prudence nurses a deep, personal, and possibly life-threatening grudge against Sabrina.
Kiernan Skipka plays Sabrina Spellman, the series lead character. Meanwhile, Richard Coyle portrays Father Blackwood, the Dean of the Academy of the Unseen Arts, who also happens to be the High Priest of the Church of Night. As such, expect Gabrielle’s Prudence to interact with both frequently.
Other cast members include Lucy Davis ( who plays Sabrina’s Aunt Hilda Spellman), Michelle Gomez(Mary Wardell), Miranda Otto, (Aunt Zelda Spellman), Chance Perdomo (Ambrose Spellman), and Jaz Sinclair (Rosalind Walker). Earlier, Ross Lynch was announced as playing Sabrina’s boyfriend Harvey Kinkle. Bronson Pinchot will have the recurring role as Baxter High’s Principal George Hawthorne.
Gabrielle portrays Gaia on The CW’s ‘The 100’ and Birdie on Hulu’s ‘Freakish’. She also provides a voice on the Youtube/TBS adult animated series ‘Tarantula’ and voiced Addie in ‘The Emoji Movie’.
Based on the Archie Comics graphic novel The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the Untitled Sabrina Project reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Shipka) as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft. Tonally in the vein of ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ and ‘The Exorcist’, this adaptation finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.
Netflix ordered two ten-episode seasons of this ‘Sabrina’ project last year after The CW passed in favor of the possible upcoming ‘Charmed’ reboot. No release date has been given so far. Check back for more updates as they arrive.
