Fans of Master Chief are going to be thrilled to know that we’ve got a new “Halo” comic which is set to be released that explores what he was up to during the Covenant War! ‘Halo: Collateral Damage is coming to us straight from Dark Horse and will have a few familiar faces behind its creation.

Alex Irvine is returning as the series writer with Dave Crosland on art, Leonard O’Grady as the colorist, Simon Bowland as the letterer, and glorious cover art by Zak Hartong. The image attached is an example of Hartong’s work on the upcoming series and shows off his amazing style.

As to what the comic will specifically be about and what story it will follow, here is the description:

Halo: Collateral Damage follows the Master Chief and Blue Team as they are deployed by the UNSC to an unstable colony world. Their mission: to terminate the Covenant’s efforts to uncover something ancient and powerful beneath the planet’s surface. However, as the mission takes a turn for the unexpected, the Spartan-II strike team realizes that the stakes of their mission are higher than they imagined, and they’ll have to rely on each other and a small group of human rebels to survive.

‘Halo: Collateral Damage’ is set to be a three-part series, and the first issue is set to drop on June 6th, 2018. Irvine is penning the current series titled ‘Halo: Rise of Atriox’ which is already in your local comic shops and has been a hit among fans.
