American Gods: My AinselThe first arc of Dark Horse’s adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s ‘American Gods: Shadows’ has come to a close and now the publisher has released a preview of ‘American Gods: My Ainsel.’ This new book will be the first of a 9-part run that will continue the story of Shadow Moon from the previous set of books. P. Craig Russell and Scott Hamilton have returned to guide the story forward once more with Glenn Fabry and Adam Brown on covers and David Mack tackling all of the variants.

According to Russell:

“American Gods is the story of the collision between the myriad gods of the old world brought here by the immigrants, and those of the new. In the just-completed first volume, we found the old gods fallen on hard times, clinging to the shreds of belief of their dwindling believers, now under attack from the ascendant new gods, the gods of celebrity and the internet, intent on destroying the old.”
