The Funko Forecast

Get ready for the Funko Forecast! This is where we’re going to be showcasing all of the cool new announcements and reveals from Funko! With all of the awesome that consistently seems to be flowing out of those guys, it shouldn’t be hard to keep this section alive each and every week!

The Magic Is Back For More

One series that Funko could likely keep going forever is the coveted ‘Harry Potter’ license! This week Funko unveiled a number of new items in their long running line of ‘Harry Potter’ merchandise, including new POP! Vinyls, SuperCute Plush, and their first foray into ‘Harry Potter’ Vynls!

For POP! Vinyls we’ve got Ron and Ginny Weasley in their Quidditch Gear joining the lineup! In the SuperCute Plush line we can look forward to a new series that includes Harry and Ron in their Quidditch Gear, Yule Ball Hermione, Hagrid, and Hedwig! And finally, our first ever Harry Potter Vynl set includes Hagrid and our titular hero, Harry Potter himself! These are all due out between February and March of 2018!

Funko Set To ‘Bright’-en Things Up

Later this week, Netflix is set to premiere an all new original film that can best be described as an urban-fantasy-crime-drama with ‘Bright’ starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton! The film focuses on two cops, one human and one… Orc? Yes you’re reading that right. Essentially if you took all your favorite fantasy tropes and threw them into a modern era crime drama, that’s the movie we’re getting. It sounds awesome, and now Funko has announced that they’ll be releasing a series of POP! Vinyls based on the film early next year! The wave is comprised of Daryl Ward (with ‘Magic Wand’ chase variant), Nick Jakoby, Tikka, and the Target exclusive Leilah! These are due in stores around February!
